i finally finished the rest of rachel's christmas present. i embroidered napkins to go with her pot holders.



also, i made my first tart. it was a little involved for my taste, but turned out well.

i finally located a japanese bakery near ypsilanti.

for me: a delicious red bean bun shaped like a man.

for trevor: a chocolate filled pastry shaped like a turtle.

on Friday the 13th we celebrated v-day.

we also baked some home made chocolate cup cakes.

i attempted to make a blanket. it's a slightly altered version of the "ring-stitched lap blanket" project in todd oldham's hand made modern.

garfield sweatshirt

merrill bought me a garfield sweatshirt for christmas. apparently cats don't have a great understanding of size. it was too big. so, i cut it up and made a 1980s off the shoulder top.

they took some honey, and plenty of money...
